Bio
Pablo Benítez Llambay, an associate professor
at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile, specializes in numerical
astrophysics, focusing on disk and planet dynamics. He obtained his Ph.D. in
Astronomy from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in 2015 and subsequently
joined the Niels Bohr Institute at Copenhagen University, where he continued
his research until 2022. Pablo is particularly interested in numerical
hydrodynamics in the context of high-performance computing, primarily
targeting GPU clusters. He is the main architect and developer of FARGO3D, a
versatile, open-source multi-fluid (Magneto)Hydrodynamic CPU/GPU parallel
solver.
