The UNC Cultural Center – Paseo Córdoba de la Nueva Andalucía is a multidisciplinary space that brings together an archaeological site museum, the university press bookstore, institutional activities, academic and research practices, as well as cultural and artistic events across diverse disciplines.
The site museum represents a historical and archaeological landmark shaped by the Jesuit legacy, showcasing the layered urban evolution of the city of Córdoba. The complex integrates architectural structures from the 17th to the 21st centuries, highlighting the coexistence of different historical periods within a single space. Its significance lies in making visible the successive historical layers that reflect Córdoba’s cultural, educational, and urban development over time.
