The CARLA 2025 Conference invites submissions for tutorials to be held during the event (in-person)<\/em>, focused on advancing knowledge and skills in High-Performance Computing (HPC) and its applications. As the premier conference for HPC in Latin America, CARLA serves as a platform for the global community to share innovative techniques, case studies and capacity building for and practical solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tutorials submission deadline:<\/strong> June 17, 2025<\/s> July 15, 2025
Tutorials author notification:<\/strong> July 1, 2025<\/s> August 4, 2025
Conference dates:<\/strong> September 22-26, 2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Tutorial proposals should be in English and should be no more than three (3) pages in length, confirming to the following outline:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Previous editions:<\/em><\/strong> If the tutorial was given before, where and when was it presented? Is there any novelty for this edition?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. General information:<\/em><\/strong> Title of the tutorial. Organizers and Presenters names, affiliation, contact information, and brief bio.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Abstract:<\/em><\/strong> 1-2 paragraphs suitable for inclusion in the conference registration material.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Topic and relevance:<\/em><\/strong> A description of the tutorial topic, providing a sense of both the scope of the tutorial and depth within the scope, and a statement on why the tutorial is important and timely, how it is relevant to CARLA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Resources and Duration:<\/em><\/strong> Please indicate the number of 4 hours sessions to be delivered. Specify the equipment needs for participants (eg. pre-installed software) and if the organizers plan to give access to students to a particular platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Audience:<\/em><\/strong> A description of the intended audience, prerequisite knowledge, and the expected learning outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Each session must include at least 1 \u00bd hours of live guided \u201chands-on\u201d practice and offer participants reference and support materials, available with free licenses, and access to hardware and software platforms as necessary. Tutorials must be delivered in-person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
