He obtained his PhD in Astronomy in 2019 at the University of Copenhagen. In 2022 he obtained the 51 Pegasi b fellowship in planetary astronomy. He joined Universidad of Concepcion in the Fall of 2024. Leonardo Krapp is interested in planet formation and computational astrophysics. As a computational astrophysicist, Leonardo reproduces the conditions where planets are born using complex dynamical models with the code FARGO3D.
