Additionally, he is an associate researcher at the Center for Mathematical Modeling (CMM) and the scientific director of the National Laboratory for High Performance Computing (NLHPC).<\/p><p>His main research area lies in probability theory, specifically in stochastic calculus, Brownian motion, potential theory, and quasi-stationary distributions. He also works on matrix analysis and its connections with probability. Regarding applications, his interests primarily focus on mathematical models in astronomy.<\/p><p>He is the author of the book &#8220;Measure Theory&#8221; (Universitaria Publishing House, 2018).<\/p><p>Awards and recognitions:<br \/>&#8211; National Prize in Exact Sciences, 2023<br \/>&#8211; I.W.
