The CARLA 2025 Conference invites submissions for tutorials to be held during the event (in-person), focused on advancing knowledge and skills in High-Performance Computing (HPC) and its applications. As the premier conference for HPC in Latin America, CARLA serves as a platform for the global community to share innovative techniques, case studies and capacity building for and practical solutions.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Tutorial proposals should be in English and should be no more than three (3) pages in length, confirming to the following outline:
- Previous editions: If the tutorial was given before, where and when was it presented? Is there any novelty for this edition?
- General information: Title of the tutorial. Organizers and Presenters names, affiliation, contact information, and brief bio.
- Abstract: 1-2 paragraphs suitable for inclusion in the conference registration material.
- Topic and relevance: A description of the tutorial topic, providing a sense of both the scope of the tutorial and depth within the scope, and a statement on why the tutorial is important and timely, how it is relevant to CARLA.
- Resources and Duration: Please indicate the number of 4 hours sessions to be delivered. Specify the equipment needs for participants (eg. pre-installed software) and if the organizers plan to give access to students to a particular platform.
- Audience: A description of the intended audience, prerequisite knowledge, and the expected learning outcomes.
Each session must include at least 1 ½ hours of live guided “hands-on” practice and offer participants reference and support materials, available with free licenses, and access to hardware and software platforms as necessary. Tutorials must be delivered in-person.
Submission Process:
Submit proposals through the CARLA 2025 conference portal by June 17, 2025. Portal link will be posted soon.
Submissions will be reviewed by the program committee based on relevance, clarity, and technical depth.
