CARLA is an international conference aimed at providing a forum to foster the growth and strength of the High Performance Computing (HPC) community in Latin America and beyond. The conference serves as a platform for new ideas, techniques, and research in HPC and its applications areas. Started in 2014.
CARLA has become the flagship conference for HPC in the region. We invite the international community to share its advances on both HPC and HPC4AI as these fields are key areas that are becoming the predominant engine for innovation and development.
This year marks for the first time CARLA will be held in the Caribbean. The region is home to over 30 states and dependencies spread across approximately 7,000 islands. The conference will feature an exciting mix of sessions, including:
Workshops provide venue for focused topical discussions, presentations, and networking, and activities. We welcome workshops in any area related to HPC, it’s application, and it’s surrounding ecosystem.
We welcome novel, cutting-edge research in HPC and it’s related fields. Papers provide an opportunity to disseminate important findings and methodologies to the wider community while driving new research directions.
Share technical concepts and techniques through interactive tutorials. Tutorials may be educational content or best practices for emerging technologies, programming models, or optimization techniques etc.
Visual presentation of your work in progress or completed research. Posters offer an excellent opportunity for informal discussion and feedback from the HPC community in an interactive forum.
Support the advancement of HPC in Latin America. Join leading organizations in fostering innovation and development in high-performance computing. Various sponsorship tiers available to suit your organization's goals.
Collaborate with CARLA to strengthen the HPC ecosystem. We welcome partnerships with academic institutions, research centers, and industry leaders committed to advancing high-performance computing in the region.
